Custom Japanese Knife Handle - Extra nice African Blackwood

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is from African Blackwood, which is a premium rosewood and Katalox

Medium sized, it is suited for 210-240 Japanese knives. 

Weight: 62g Length: 134mm (5.3”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
