Custom Japanese Knife Handle - Ringed Gidgee and copper

This is an octagonal Wa Style Handle made for Japanese style kitchen knives.

The body is made from really stabilized excellent quality ringed Gidgee from Tasmania 

medium sized, it is suited for 240mm Japanese knives. 

Weight: 63mm Length: 139.7 mm (5.5”)

Handle is sanded to 600 grit and then coated in 5-6 coats of sealer for longer protection.

Care :

• Hand wash with soapy water and towel dry.
• Do not put in dishwasher, nor soak in water for long periods of time.
• Oil on a fairly regular basis, or sand with 0000 steel wool and reapply a sealer like tru-oil as needed.
